Collection: SilaiWali

SilaiWali is a social enterprise based in New Delhi that empowers Afghan refugee women by turning textile waste into beautiful, handcrafted home decor and objects. Rooted in the principles of fair trade, SilaiWali gives new life to discarded fabrics while offering sustainable livelihoods to women displaced by conflict. Each item is made with care, carrying not only the story of the maker but also a commitment to the planet.

At House of Woven Stories, we were deeply moved by SilaiWali’s mission - one that mirrors our own. Like us, they believe in honoring craftsmanship, creating lasting impact through conscious fashion, and preserving the cultural soul of textiles. Both of our journeys are shaped by a love for meaningful objects, made slowly and with respect for those who create them.

We’re proud to share SilaiWali’s work with our community: pieces that embody resilience, purpose, and the beauty of second chances.
