SO-LE Studio: The Alchemy of Scarcity

SO-LE Studio: The Alchemy of Scarcity

SO-LE Studio Joins House of Woven Stories: Redefining Luxury Through
Upcycling
At House of Woven Stories, we are proud to welcome SO-LE Studio, a brand that embodies design excellence and responsible creativity. Founded by Maria Sole Ferragamo, SO-LE Studio transforms discarded materials into sculptural jewellery that challenges conventional ideas of luxury. Each creation reflects a deep respect for craftsmanship, sustainability, and the beauty of transformation. Maria Sole grew up surrounded by the language of Italian artistry, where form, material, and precision were part of daily life. Trained in architecture, she approaches design through
structure and storytelling. Her central question, “What beauty can emerge from what remains?”, defines both her process and her philosophy.

The Art and Purpose of Upcycling

At the heart of SO-LE Studio lies a commitment to upcycling. The brand uses leather and brass remnants from Ferragamo’s workshops in Tuscany, reimagining what might otherwise be discarded into pieces of refined design. Through this thoughtful process, limitation becomes a source of creativity rather than constraint. Each jewel is designed in Milan and crafted in Tuscany, where artisanal skill meets architectural vision.
Upcycling for SO-LE Studio is more than a design choice; it is a statement of intent. Every piece illustrates that sustainability can coexist with sophistication, that conscious creation can elevate rather than restrict. The result is jewellery that feels modern yet timeless, structured yet fluid, so bright yet so light!

Shared Values and a Collective Vision

At House of Woven Stories, we believe that true artistry begins with intention. Our curation brings together brands and designers who share our belief in creating beauty with purpose. We support craftsmanship that respects materials, communities, and the environment.
Our collaboration with SO-LE Studio represents a natural alignment of values. Both our worlds believe that the future of luxury lies in responsibility, where creation is guided by awareness, and design serves as a vehicle for change. We believe in the power of upcycling as a bridge between creativity and care, and we are proud to showcase brands that redefine how beauty is made and valued.
This partnership also marks a step in our broader journey toward sustainability. At House of Woven Stories, we are committed to building a collection that celebrates a no-waste culture and ethical innovation. We aim to make a difference by championing products and practices that honour both artistry and the planet. SO-LE Studio joins a growing community of creators within our curation who believe that luxury should enrich, not exhaust, the world around us.

Design That Defines the Future

SO-LE Studio’s collections reinterpret its signature forms in new colours and finishes, reflecting a continuous dialogue between material and imagination. The brand has received recognition from leading international publications, including The New York Times, Vogue, Wallpaper, Harper’s Bazaar, M Le Monde, and Financial Times HTSI. Each acknowledgment reinforces the same truth: that sustainable design and upcycling are not trends but the new foundation of modern luxury.
With SO-LE Studio now part of House of Woven Stories, we invite you to experience a collection that speaks to the future of conscious creation. Each piece embodies a story of renewal, transforming what remains into something enduring, expressive, and meaningful through the art of upcycling.
This is more than an introduction. It marks the beginning of a larger conversation on upcycling, sustainability, and intentional design, one that we will continue exploring in our upcoming series. Together, we believe that when creativity meets conscience, beauty becomes timeless and purpose becomes power.
